Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to unite and represent the interests of Jewish attorneys and our allies in Palm Beach County to foster a legal community dedicated to upholding the principles of inclusion, justice, integrity, and morality. We strive to promote and educate about our cultural heritage, protect our common interests, strengthen our community and fight antisemitism and intolerance. Together, we will uphold the highest ethical standards to champion the rights of Jewish counselors contributing to the betterment of society. As Jewish attorneys, we stand united in our commitment to compassion and the pursuit of a more just and tolerant world.

Build meaningful connections. Advance your career. Strengthen our community.

Our JLAPBC President

The volume of Jewish lawyers and judiciary in Palm Beach County has been obvious for decades prior to the inception of our voluntary bar association. Our Palm Beach County Jewish lawyers and judiciary were left without a home for far too long. The climate of antisemitic events exacerbated the absence of a Jewish Lawyers Association in Palm Beach County. This organization shall be forever grateful to our founding chapter members and its Founding President, Gary Lesser.

As we change the guard for the first time, I am humbled by the immense successes we have reached thus far and the ever rising interest in this organization. With every contact within this organization, I am met with glowing suggestions toward continued loyalty, growth, community, and support of our mission.

It is obvious that each of our experiences with Judaism have created our own culture. Whether you grew up going to synagogue every Friday or only went on special occasions, the idea of being Jewish means something unique to each of us. From our vibrant mosaic of personal experiences come a wealth of opportunities to come together. It is my hope for the coming year that you connect and cultivate relationships that fill your mind and your heart and bring even more pride to the fact that we are all one “kehila” (Hebrew: community).

“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” – Anne Frank
